Simple & Delicious Beef Stew

Made with bone broth, beef tallow and high quality beef this stew is not only delicious, comforting and super nutritious... it's good FOR you!

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp beef tallow (or olive oil and butter)
  • 2 lb. stew meat
  • 1 whole medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 5-7 cups beef bone broth
  • 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 whole carrots, chopped (I like thick chunks)
  • 4 whole potatoes, quartered
  • Minced parsley for topping

Method

  1. Dry your stew meat with a paper towel
  2. Heat the tallow and brown your stew meat (in batches so you don’t over crowd)
  3. Remove stew meat and set aside
  4. Add your carrots and onion and sauté until fragrant
  5. Add your garlic and saute for another minute
  6. Add your bone broth and stew meat, bring to a boil then simmer on super low for at least 45 minutes (2 hours is ideal)
  7. Add your potatoes and simmer until potatoes are soft
  8. Ladle into bowls and top with parsley

Enjoy!
